Because Like-Nu is a simple spray-and-blend application — no specialized certification, mixing ratios stay the same every time — results are consistent whether it's your most experienced tech or someone newer to your crew.

How should we price Like-Nu into a repair job?

Most contractors build Like-Nu into their existing repair quote as the finishing step, rather than pricing it as a separate service.

As a reference point: material cost is under $1 per square foot, and contractors charging $4–$6 per square foot for the finish work typically see $1,200–$2,000 in profit on a 400 sq. ft. application — adjust based on your market and however you're already structuring your pricing.

What if the customer has cracks in the cement?

We let you decide how to fix the cracks the best and once done, use Like-Nu Concrete Restoration to finish the job, restoring the cement to it's original look.

Is Like-Nu an overlay or epoxy?

Like Nu Concrete Restoration Kit is not an overlay or epoxy. Like Nu Concrete is modified cement that permeates the surface allowing air and moisture to breathe. While traditional overlays are susceptible to cracking and peeling, Like Nu Concrete does not peel or crack.

How long does Like-Nu Concrete Mix need to dry before walking on it?

Depending on the outside temperature, we recommend allowing the product to cure and dry for 30 to 60 minutes.

If the outside temperature is:

  • 80°F and above, the Like-Nu Concrete will dry as fast as 10 minutes.
  • 60°F to 80°F, the Like-Nu Concrete will dry as fast as 1 hour.
  • 55° to 60°, the Like-Nu Concrete will dry in approximately 120 to 180 minutes.
  • We do not recommend applying Like Nu Concrete in weather below 55° 

Do I need special training or tools to apply it?

No special tools or certifications required — just a garden pump sprayer and basic surface prep. Most crews are comfortable applying Like-Nu after their first job, using our step-by-step guide and video resources. If you're rolling this out across multiple crews or locations, we also offer personalized demos — just give us a call.

Unmixed Like-Nu is good for 12 months from purchase when stored properly: keep it in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, moisture, humidity, and open flame — and don't let it freeze. Stored this way, a bulk order won't go to waste before you can use it across your next several jobs.
